Hey folks! Its a beautiful morning here in sunny Washington, DC. Advocates, activists, allies and friends are starting to arrive at the Reform Immigration FOR America Campaign Summit. I will be live-blogging  the Summit over the next three days, filling all of you in on the highlights of this exciting moment in the fight for immigration reform.

Already this morning, a National Press Conference was held to officially launch the RI4A campaign. Check out the diverse list of speakers at the launch:

Angelica Salas, Executive Director, Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA)

Ali Noorani, Executive Director, National Immigration Forum, Moderator

The national launch comes on the heels of 40 separate local launch events throughout the country this past Monday.

The RI4A campaign is truly being built from the ground up, with a solid, diverse and extensive base of allies and support.

Washington DC is buzzing with the excitement of the moment. I can’t wait to share more with you guys as the Summit unfolds.
