160 Arrested in Raid on Houston Plant

In spite of the recent rash of calls for an end to the inhumane ICE raids and mounting evidence that the administration’s “enforcement only” policy on immigration is ineffective, ICE is continuing its campaign in full force.

As the NY Times reported, yesterday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents raided a Houston, TX plant called Action Rags USA, arresting 160 people. While ICE claims to be investigating the company for possible criminal violations, if the raid in Postville, Iowa was any indication, the employers will not be facing many consequences.
