The African People Alliance is organzing a discussion forum that will explore issues facing African immigrants in the New York area.
“Harassment and Mass Deportation of African immigrants.”
Date: Saturday, December 13, 2008 Time: 12 noon
Venue: Auditorium, Cardinal Hayes Memorial High School. 650 Grand Concourse – Bronx, NY 10451
The African community has noticed an increase in the arrests and deportation of African immigrants, and separation of families. Our concerns are African immigrants must be given a fair hearing and their rights must be respected under the law.
Guest speakers with extensive knowledge and experience in immigration matters have been invited to address the concerns and rights of African immigrants in the United States.
