We already know that ICE raids of homes and workplaces are inhumane, cruel and have been denounced by various leaders at the local, state and national level. We know that raids tear apart families and even whole communities. We’ve seen the trauma raids cause children. We have seen the vulnerable exploited while those in power remained unharmed.
Now, from USA Today, comes the story of US Citizens who have been caught up in the raids and detained. With their constitutional rights violated, some of these citizens are taking legal action against the government.
How far will this have to go before we demand a change? How long will we turn a blind eye to the scare tactics being employed by our government?
